Our History

A journey of excellence spanning over four decades

Aeronautics College, formerly Aeronautics Commerce & Arts College, was established in the year 1981 with the express objective of meeting the academic requirement of the children of the HAL employees beyond school level. The college has been functioning under the aegis of Aeronautics Education Society (an autonomous registered body financed and managed by HAL) since its inception.

Presently the college is permanently affiliated to CHSE (O) and Vikram Deb University for +2 and +3 (Honours) courses respectively.

Over the years the college has a track record of showing remarkable results at all levels - at intermediate, +2 and +3 stages. The college has succeeded in accomplishing the best of academics in the undivided Koraput District. Simultaneously the college is believed to be one of the top-ranking colleges in the state of Odisha.
